We want everyone in our music-loving community to feel welcomed, respected and safe.
We value our community's privacy and encourage you to read our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy which explains how Serato collects and processes any personal information and what your options are with regard to your personal information.
The following Community Guidelines, along with these Terms of Use govern your use of Serato.com, including as accessed by any application or device (Serato Website). If you order or purchase any Serato Product either on a trial basis, by outright purchase or through your uptake of a Serato Subscription from the Serato Website you will also be required to agree to additional Terms of Sale and / or an End User License Agreement (EULA).
Serato is legally required to collect Sales Tax in multiple jurisdictions.
If you interact or post any content to the Serato Website community forum page you must comply with the following:
Community Guidelines
- Be respectful. This means not creating, using or posting any content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, derogatory, inflammatory or generally offensive.
- Be authentic. Don't pass yourself off as, or attempt to impersonate someone you are not, including any employee of Serato;
- No spam. Don't post any commercial advertising.
- Be safe. Don't post any personally identifiable information that would let you or anyone else be located or contacted in the real world.
- Be copyright compliant. Make sure you have the appropriate permissions and rights before you post, use or share someone else's content – including any Third-Party Content that is accessed via the Serato Website. Some Third-Party Content may include restrictions on use such as non-commercial use only. You should be prepared to provide information to Serato to confirm your rights to use any content posted if required.
The Serato Website and/or Serato Products may incorporate or be used together with Third-Party Content or Third-Party Software that is subject to additional third-party terms and conditions of use including those found on the Visualiser Third Party Content Notices page and Software Legal Notices pages. Please make sure your use of any Third-Party Content and Software complies with the license and terms and conditions provided by the relevant third parties.
If you fail to comply with the above Community Guidelines or Terms of Use, we reserve the right to remove content you post on the Serato Website community forum page, and/or subject to any applicable EULA, restrict or suspend your access to any Serato Product and or terminate your Serato account.
