So, a couple of weeks ago, our mates Sam and Ze from N.A.S.A. offered to play a private party for us when they flew through Auckland. How awesome is that? So we got in touch with Andy from Coherent, who let us use his club on a Tuesday night with only a week's notice. Then I made this awesome invite because our graphic designer was away (see below), and sent it out to everyone we knew.
The result? A couple of hundred people packing out a club on a Tuesday night in Auckland (what?!), drinking, singing karaoke, eating cake and rocking out to an awesome set from N.A.S.A.
Cheers to JCDC who held down support like nobody's biz, still one of the best in AK. Of course, thanks to the lovely Calypso for taking photos, and to the crew at Coherent who helped us put this together with minimal time.
Big big BIG props go out to Sam, Ze, Nate and Ras Congo who put on a killer killer show. The space monsters were an amazing addition. Thanks so much guys, it was a great way to celebrate. Please come back soon!!
