I wanted to let you guys know that I posted a Lemur template w/ Serato mapping file to the Liine user library.
This version was completed in a couple of nights so currently it only controls the platter, pitch fader and cue points.
The platter supports both pitch bend and scratching and the cue sets will delete any existing cue in the slot before assigning the new one.
Check out the template if your interested and let me know your feedback

The latest update supports cues and autoloops w/ a fader to lengthen / shorten the autoloop value.

I didn't have any plans in the works for an iPod/iPhone version but if someone wants it I could convert parts of the iPad version over. I would need to know exactly what you where looking for as the template would be a lot smaller so I would have to conserve real estate.
The plan is to add fx support in the next update and I already have library browsing added. If someone hooks me up with a key for Video I can add support for that as well. Since that seem far fetched I'll probably just get a license once I finish up with basic functionality in Scratch Live.

did you ever use touchosc before the lemur app? if so, how would you compare them two?

I've used touchOSC and its a great app but Lemur packs a bigger punch.
its basically the same thing but with added physics.
head to head i'd say Lemur wins, but saying that i haven't had that much time with the Lemur editor so can tell you how easy it is to make your own templates, maybe npmarrin can answer that.

I had a look at touchosc's website before choosing the Lemur but have never tried their app. The thing that stuck out for me with the Lemur was its scripting abilities and the number of existing templates I could use as a reference. I knew I was going to have to add logic to the template since Serato doesn't send any data back to the template so you have to do a bit of work to represent the state on the iPad

I started building and testing the template on version 2.4.0 but you should be able to use the template with 2.3.3. I would suggest you keep a copy of version 2.4.1 around in case you see issues. That way you can verify if it is an issue with the template or an issue with Serato. There are a lot of know issues with midi and the DJ-FX section in 2.3.3. I have the Denon HC1000s and you can read up on the 2.3.3 issues from serato.com
DJ-FX should be avaliable in an update that should be public in a few weeks.

Don't suppose you could do a quick vid? I could be tempted if Lemur looks like what I want from a controller but it's a fairly expensive app. I have touch osc but not got it working yet

I started something for FX but it isn't ready to be released. I had hoped it would be out by now but other things are getting in the way of this side project.
I'll make sure to post back when it is released

I really liked where you were going with this template, but I found the platter control leaving a bit to be desired (I understand lemur v3 was limiting your options). At any rate I took my own crack at this and went a little bonkers once I had the platter control working decently. Ended up adding some decent EFX control and sort of integrated it with the looping...
