Hi,
I'm on a 13" Macbook Pro, SL3, belkin USB-C cable and original RCAs. I've also tried with an SL4 box and had the same issue:
While playing using CDJs through SL3 box, it seems at points in time i get a 'dropout' where the signal quality bar goes from all grey to 3/4 red all for a few seconds, and the sound is distorted heavily, after 3 - 4 seconds it goes back to normal.
Not sure what's causing the issue? I've tried with pretty much every port on my computer, the only thing constant since changing to the 2016 MBP is the belkin cable and i can try a replacement for that too... It happens with every track I mix, on the left or right deck, and effects both decks when it happens ( can see the signal bar going from grey to red on both sides at the same rate)

so just realised that my SL3 box firmware version was like 2.2 or 2.3 or something, and just updated to 2.5 - unfortunately i can't test at home but hopefully this solves the issue

Totally off, until it gets resolved., I've asked Serato for help with this as it seems to identify the issue, from the logs :
> HALC_ProxyIOContext.cpp:1068:IOWorkLoop: HALC_ProxyIOContext::IOWorkLoop: skipping cycle due to overload

I wish, sadly I'm still having massive issues weekend after weekend, with wifi disabled. Turntables no problem, CDJs via USB are the culprit.

Sorry to bump a really old post but I'm running a 2012 MBP with Serato DJ 2.0.5 on Mojave and seeing serious glitching when I open my folders from the dock rather than in finder. The graphic processing to do this seems to cause these over loads almost.

Should have included that I am seeing this HALC_ProxyIOContext.cpp:1068:IOWorkLoop: HALC_ProxyIOContext::IOWorkLoop: skipping cycle due to overload error too.

The new Metal drivers in Mojave really taxed my 2012, I had to do a clean install of High Sierra and will be sticking with this until the machine dies.

I had noticed that, I've also realised where my problem lies. It's the Pioneer DJM 850 sound card or drivers or both. Plugged in my SL3 and had absolutely no issues, even when I purposely set it to 1ms USB Buffer. I'm going to open a new help request on it.

I just updated to Mojave and haven’t had a hiccup on my 72 and denons - could very well be pioneer’s drivers or something else.
