My Rane mixer works fine but my VCI-300 mkII is not seen by my Serato software (any version of DJ and Itch).

I can see the VCI under USB in System Report on my Mac. The wheels change colour but the LCD buttons remain dim. Tried all USB ports also and different cables.

It still works fine on my work laptop which is OSX Mountain Lion so it's a compatibility with Mavericks I assume.

Hey everyone! This worked!!!


1. Connect/power on hardware
2. Open Audio MIDI setup > Window> Show MIDI Window
3. Re-set the Change Configuration drop down from 'Default' to 'New Configuration' (I named it VCI-300 and saved the configuration and it worked.

This issue only effects users who have connected their hardware for the first time on OSX Mavericks 10.9.2
