Did you double click on the Main Output window? I had a similar issue and it was resolved once the Main Serato Video Output was windowed.

Yeah i still have this problem, I have serato scratch and serato dj, and i use the SL3 and Numark mix pro, i turned off the automatic graphics switching in system preferences.

my video works fine in Scratch, i'm on a mac book Version 10.9.2 and using Serato DJ 1.6.1

Unfortunately this is a problem with serato Dj. It happened to me when I first used it but never on Scratchlive. Only thing I did was restart the computer and eventually the screens showed up you might have to do a few restarts. Either that or try upgrading your serato Dj. Could be a bug but others have had no issues. Seems to me that it is a mavericks problem. Good luck

Can you please upgrade to Serato DJ 1.6.3? As Serato Video is now bundled with Serato DJ and will need to reinstall the whole 1.6.3 package to refresh the Serato Video preference files.

Close all applications, at your desktop hold down "option" then click "Go" > Library > Preferences. Find all the .plist files in this folder that have "Serato" (or SeratoVideo) in their name, move them all to the desktop.

Now restart your machine. Once it boots back up, please reinstall Serato DJ 1.6.3 from here > serato.com.

i have the same problems with scratch live !! i have the rane ttm57.

Weird. Just keep restarting the computer until they show up. I haven't had this happen at all with scratch live but serato dj it did and was a problem. I don't know what causes it but it's pretty random.

Do you know if Serato DJ Video supports Yosemite. I can't see videos on my preview decks... only visual I get is on the output.

FYI... Scratch Live works fine & Serato DJ is the problem.

This happened to me when I first used it unfortunately it goes away after a few restarts and will appear. It is odd behavior and none of the staff have an answer cause quite a few users have this issue.

Same issue with Serato 1.7.2 ! no issue with Scratsh live.

His mac is from 2013 and mine 2012 but if it was a problem of older mac i think scratch doesnt will works also or the software is too new and no adapt for old computer but also with all old software version it's not working so can't be that. Do you use serial keys activate directly from dj serato software or put alone your key? Maybe it's a problem about the keys if all it's working on my friend system and scratch software

has nothing to do with serial numbers. I have a 2010 MacBook Pro which is quite old and that happened as soon as I downloaded SDJ. Scratchlive there is no issue. It can't be the serials cause sometimes after restarting the system it just goes away.

In my case my processor is I5 2,5 GHz and all is ok for working. The only things who stay if it's not the processor or the key maybe the graphic card, they say some card are not working with windows

Sorry i must to tell than in fact it's not the graphic card i rode too fast and didn t see pc and i have done a last test and i suggest to everybody to that because now my video is working well on all serato video and also the beta 1.7.4
1 dezauthorise the serial on your serato
2 close all soft
3 downlaod this version and install her

4 go in plug video of this version and put try demo video
now the video worked well
5 and then put your serial
And now all it's working for me

If you start a help request with serato they will get back to you and sort it out. It's almost always a settings issue.

I can confirm it is "not" a settings issue. I am using a brand new Mid 2014 15" MacBook Pro with the best specs you could possibly get and the latest version of SDJ still did this when I first installed it however after a restart of my mac everything was ok and finally showed the preview screens but yes the fact this issue is still going on is quite sad...smh👏🏻
