Hailing from Wellington and currently based in Berlin, Dj Myrikal has been in the game a long time. After his successes in the NZ DMC DJ championships and releasing 5 successful Hip Hop Mixtapes, Myrikal shifted his focus towards Grime Music around 2008.

His riddims quickly caught a lot of attention with spins on radio stations like London's legendary Rinse FM. In early 2010 he released his debut grime offering "The Roads EP" to rave reviews. Since then he has been producing tracks for some of the biggest names in the UK Grime scene including M.I.K and Riko Dan of the legendary Roll Deep Crew.

Now he is back with his second instrumental release "Night Wolf EP" featuring 4 tracks that see Myrikal developing his unique brand of Bass-heavy, UK Garage influenced Grime music.

Tonight we chat to Myrikal about life in Germany, Grime and working with the big names in the scene, plus a 130 bpm guest mix for the one and only Sam Noon & Amiga500HD, and the usual bunch of new and forthcoming tunes.
