quick question Dub. How are you listing your playlists here in this forum section?
DJ Dub Cowboy 10:39 PM - 19 October, 2010
Serato playlists and then leave a comment on them. They don't show up here until someone comments
Dj Nyce 11:44 PM - 19 October, 2010

There are a bunch of playlists here with no comments :) They supposed to show up automatically once you set the "Enable Live Playlist" in ssl....

This forum area is just the back door to the playlists comments, you can also leave a comment directly on any playlist.

hey dave

is there any way to unify that? maybe the playlist area could be more "blog" like where a playlist gets posted and once it's expanded all the comments show up under it. Then there could be widget areas for "Recent comments", "hot playlists" (most commented), "featured playlist", etc all on one page. It could be even be the portal to the rest of the forums.

anything that shows up means the DJ took the time and effort to put it there, it would be nice to have that carry over to a more active area of the forum. I really like the playlist feature. I'd make a page like that my homepage (It's already my tracked discussions). It's nice to connect with people and whatever conversation or argument they are having in the threads but to see what people are doing with Scratch Live when they are NOT on the forums would be really awesome.

It's already there but it's kind of awkward and I don't know how many people come and dig through these threads if they are not posting in them. As it is, you click a random thread and then have to click to open another page, and then you have to click to open the comment area.

It would be better to come into this area, open thread and see the playlist automatically.

just tossing out ideas

or make another expandable floating toolbox like this one for playlists----------------------->
