Since the early 2000's the Beat Society stage has given many famous producers (Kanye West, 9th Wonder, Oddisee, Nottz, Apollo Brown, Babu and more) a platform to share their music with a live audience. Many artists such as the Roots, Beat Junkies, House Shoes, and J Dilla have supported Beat Society events in the past. Returning to New York is going to be historic
5 well-established producers will be showcasing various beats from their library and participating in themed rounds to earn the respect of their peers. With Serato's support of the 2018 New York event, the Beat Society roster will feature producers: Lord Finesse, Tall Black Guy, Shawn J Period, Trox and the new addition of Grammy award-winning producer Rockwilder!
In addition to the producer showcases, headlining performances and several DJs will help round out the full musical experience.
