Discogs, everyones favourite database for pricing up their records, searching for rare 45's and keeping stock of their collection for insurance purposes, has grown!
The worlds largest vinyl marketplace has now launched four new databases for music gear (Gearogs), books (Biliogs), comics (Comicogs) and film (Filmogs) - these are currently in beta and will take some time to become what their vinyl database has become, but we can imagine they will have some impact for collectors and retailers of second hand collectables.
In particular, Gearogs site aims to host a database of all music gear including DJ equipment - how do you think this will affect the second hard gear marketplace?
Discogs is also launching an official App later this year, also very interesting...
