On Wednesday May 20, Serato rolls into town ahead of Movement festival for an exclusive DJ clinic with artists Nick Hook, Recloose, and Matt ‘Kutcorners’ Perry at the Detroit Institute of Music Education (DIME)!
Join us from 7-9pm in D.I.M.E.’s Underground Space for our very first Detroit workshop, presented with a markedly hometown twist. We will run you through the latest Serato DJ software and demo creative uses of new features and expansion packs for both performance and production (including Flip, Beatjump, Slicer, Pitch N Time DJ, FX). We'll also show how Serato DJ works with club standard mixers such as the Pioneer DJM-900NXS, turntables, popular controllers like the Pioneer DDJ-SX2, and natively in HID mode with the Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus.
Plus we will workshop the whole evening with ONLY DETROIT MUSIC- from Motown to P-Funk to Juan to Dilla…
