Serato have been hitting select towns across the US to hold workshops on Serato DJ and how to utilise a lot of the new features you will find in the recent releases of both 1.6.2 and Serato Video.
These events are hosted by Matt P and Nick D from Serato in association with Stokyo and are a great place to ask questions and learn more about the new platform for Serato DJs.
Starting on May 15th in Los Angeles, we hit ProSound and Stage Lighting in Cypress and Astro Audio Video Lighting in Glendale, CA the following day.
We are currently in beautiful San Francisco after finishing off a workshop at World Of Stereo. I'm about to explore Haight St to get familiar with the local cuisine and meet up with local friends B.Cause, King Most, DeeJay Theory and J Boogie.
It was great to see so many people out and interested in the new software. We gave away some records and FX licenses and got a great deal of feedback from you guys about the things you are wanting and looking forward to in Serato DJ. Lots of good information was passed on and we are really happy to be able to meet the people who take the software we make to the next level with their creativity.
Over the next few weeks we will be in Houston, Chicago, Atlanta and New York. Be sure to contact the store nearest you to register in attendance.
We'll be giving away a few FX licenses and other goodies at each event too :)
