Good evening, I bought a DDj sx which works with Serato, I installed everything, experimental and software, serato is working well when my controleur is not connected but when I connect it, I have strictly no sound which goes out of my controleur, neither in the headphones nor in my speakers while I can launch the music, etc. To note that on other computers where I tried to put on it, everything worked correctly.
Thank you in advance

I am having the exact same problem.

I think Serato DJ doesnt like 64bit operating systems.

On my heap of shit 32bit Windows 7 laptop it worked straight away, however on my 64bit Windows 7 music production PC I cant get any sound to output from master or headphones.

The hardware appears to control the software as expected in every other way.

Serato, Please Help!

Hey Pedroracle,

Thanks for getting in touch,

It sounds like you have the incorrect default playback device selected.

Follow these steps.

1. Disconnect all usb devices from your computer.
2. Connect your DDJ-SX to your computers usb port.
3. Click the Windows Start button and search "sound"
4. Open the "Sound Preference" window.
5. Navigate along to the PLAYBACK tab.
6. Make sure your LAPTOP/PC SPEAKERS are set as the DEFAULT PLAYBACK device.
-- If the DDJ-SX is set as the default playback device. REMOVE IT.
-- I have attached a picture to help you out.
7. Close the sound preference window.
8. Launch Serato DJ

Does your DDJ-SX now playback audio correctly?

Let me know how you get on :)

Thanks.

5. Launch Serato DJ.

Does your Pioneer DDJ-SX now connect with Serato DJ?
