Nothing too extrav, but beyond the styleflip graphics (not all that happy with) you can see that my TTM57 now has a 9" faceplate instead of 10"
-much less dangerous for travel
-nicer fit between the 1200s

I had it cut at a shop. It took a quite long time before I could find a shop to take such a small job.
The style flip colors are black red and gray. One problem I have with the style flip is that I color matched that gray to be the same as my 1200s, you can see it came out way too light.
Im looking for another more lexan type thing I could get a print, preferably with the clear cut outs too so I can do the skulls. There is actually no lexan under the style flip. It actually took a little over a month to receive it and I was playing with no graphics at all.
heres a flick just before I got it cut i79.photobucket.com
murdered out, I actually like it like that, but its a mean trick on other DJs that have to use it.
I cant find a flick after it was cut, but I played about a month with it murdered out.
yes I know my camera is blury

thanks,
I called and emailed all types of machine shops trying to find one that would do such an obviously small job. Finally got a reconmendation for a guy with a shop way out at his farm. had to leave it with him. then I filed the burs and corners myself. (man I wish a had a machine shop)
one reason I did this, besides my own personal liking (its way better imo) is to show Rane maybe they should offer an option, or I think even better make it standard, with a rack option.
I think most TTM users never install the mixer, it really is more of a mobile mixer then it is installed. Ive seldom seen it installed.

I appreciate the info.. I may just follow in your footsteps.. just for that custom look. I happen to work @ a metal shop years ago ..which I'm still friends with the owner.. so I may be posting a modified 57 one of these days..
THANKS AGAIN!

10" plate is PERFECT for NumarkTTX setups (beveled sides, raised rubber top inset at exactly 0.5"). In fact, that plus the grain of the metal surface & rubber knobs makes it almost TOO perfect.. like that was the intention.
Thats what i rock for my mobile setup, so thats the only reason i wouldnt cut it down to 9". But it looks sick as hell that way - mucho PROPS on the mod.
...AND the art(which is, by large margin, the best on the board -at least as far as scratchlive.net can demonstrate)

One of the best 57 mods so far (looks factory from the pics) nice !
How were you able to get the original Rane sections (the rounded gray areas) intergrated with your own graphics ?
Is that a template in Styleflip ?
