make sure your USB interface is plugged in.
Hektor Ruiez 3:01 PM - 29 June, 2004
It is plugged in when i re-start, they just don't show up, if it isn't plugged in it comes up with the notice telling you. don't understand whats going on as everyone who has updated seems to be getting on fine.

Hey hektor, if your using windows, try uninstalling the usb device from the device manager and then scanning for changes and re-installing the driver.

this happened to me too... i had to restart the computer, then scratchLIVE reported that the usb interface was disconnected even tho it was plugged in... so i unplugged it and plugged it back in (to the same usb port) and it was detected and started working again...

haven't experimented thoroughly to see if there are any other issues, but the colour showing signal strength is a great idea

Also I think I may have explained this wrong, the wave form, track info etc shows up and i can load tracks and play them, just that the circular label/marker info are not showing?

Hektor, what screen resolution and bit depth are you using? Does changing between millions and thousands of colors make any difference?
Hektor Ruiez 10:10 AM - 1 July, 2004
I have my resoulution at full on the ibook (recomended on the box) i have switched between millions and thousands but no joy?

Could you send a screenshot to support at serato, we'd like to see what this looks like.

To do a scren shot, hold th apple and shift keys and press 3. A pdf file will appear on your desktop, I think.

Yeah - Apple + shift + 3 will give you a picturex.pdf on your desktop.

FYI - apple + shift + 4 lets you 'grab' a certain part of your screen.

Did you say a G3 500?!!! I thought that you needed a G4 700 or better to run Scratch Live!!! How well is it runnong for you? I have FinalCrash and I'm considering buying Scratch Live and selling my worthless FS system for my G4.

If SL works well with a G3 500, I'll but it as soon as I can!!!

Lemme know!

it works fine, a few glitches here and there but i can still play out with it. The label markers don't move as smooth as my pc display, but thats not a problem. Hektor

Can you PLEASE tell us exactly what you did to "fix" the problem?
Hektor Ruiez 12:23 PM - 8 July, 2004
I went from a thousand colours to a million, repeated this action twice then restarted ssl, didn't work, switched off ssl, restarted and it worked, there are still bits of the waveform showing on the log out screen though, i reckon it must be my slow laptop, later, ryan

Cool Thanks.

So is your screen set at a thousand or a million?
