VCI 300 pitch slider range

Oliver Giving 5:41 PM - 14 July, 2008
It looks from the front picture of the VCI 300 on the Vestax website that the pitch sliders have a range of +/- 6%

I'm wondering if there are options to set a different range (10% or 16% say)?

Thanks!

You can "offset" the pitch. So let's assume you are at +6% (and your initial pitch range went from -6% to +6%) and need more pitch. Push a button, the pitch scale will be offset and the pitch range goes to 0% to +12%)

(Not sure about the exact numbers but you get the idea I hope).

I think it goes all the way to + or - 100%

Why a pitch of +/- 6%
why not +/-4%, its more fine for long mix

is it possible +/-4% with a update of ITCH ?

No. The VCI has 6 written on it. 6 is just fine, it gives you plenty of resolution (to me).

I'm sorry but for a move of 1mm on the pitch, the speed change of:

on a SL-1200-mk2= 0.16% (pitch 8% on 100mm)
on a DENON DN2500= 0.13% (pitch à 4% on 60mm)
on a CDJ-1000...= 0.12% (pitch at 6% on 100mm)
on a CDJ-1000...= 0.20% (pitch at 10% on 100mm)
on a CMX-3000...= 0.20% (pitch at 6% on 60mm)
on a VCI-300.....= 0.20% (pitch à 6% sur 60mm)

It's more Fine on a CDJ-1000, also on a DN2500 Denon (10 years old) and also on a SL-1200-Mk2 ( 30 years old...! )

+/- 6% on a small pitch of 60mm, its not enough fine to me, sorry...!
Thanks
