Basically, I really need to use the smallest setting, ie album art size 1/5, or the album art is almost useless for me. Having the Video/FX/SP panel open or running 4 decks, don't leave that much for the library.

As one of users who pushed the hardest for album artwork in SSL, this is a feature I feel very strongly about, and feature Id rank 10/1 ratio over any other features yet mentioned. In my humble opinion, of course.

Back before SSL had album art, I made quite a few mockups of how
I thought album art should work. The original 2004! thread here -> serato.com

The reason for repost here, is I'm not sure SDJ devs saw this old thread.
I believe our constant nagging, eventually led to cover art in SSL.

The idea behind it was simply to group all similar album title/artists combos, just like iTunes does, then list them more efficently. (Nevermind the art on deck placement, remember, I did these before SSL had them, in order to promote the feature suggestion)

Art-Browse style > www.flickr.com
Art-Bowse vertical for better screen estate useage > www.flickr.com
Low resolution screen example > www.flickr.com

IMO Serato got it 75% right in SSL, maybe SDJ will be closer to 100% ?

+1 to having album art available to view. I read on digitaldjtips review of Serato DJ that there was no album art image on view at the bottom of the crates tree, ask in Itch. This would be death for me as I remember most of my music visually, via the album art. Really hope we do get decent art options, like those suggested here.

+1 VDJ's Coverflow is the closest to a real vinylbox, it should be easy to integrate in Serato Dj

I couldn't care less about cover flow but changing the album art size to the smallest as in SSL/ITCH would be very useful!

would also like to see the Scratch Live option Album Art Grid 1 on Serato Dj Because it makes it visually more better to have that option when selecting music on the fly, i use the Text option when i make a playlist.

+10 --- this should be a no brainer.. also the ability to shrink the waive forms section so I can see more of my music lists.. wave forms are great but critical.

Many from vinyl ages, where EVERYONE were organizing/selecting/browsing via cover art/ label art!

People receives 80%of the information by their EYES, and not so many blind djs out there
