It would be nice if you could select different starting points in absolute mode. The reason for this would be to enable you to still scratch as you would regular vinyl (i.e. needle drops) but be able to assign the start of the song to any point in the vinyl. This would be a setting in the "set up" area that you can select, this way you could spread the wear on your vinyl. Typically, I scratch the beginning of songs, bringing back the first verse/line, etc. If I was always using the beginning of the scratch vinyls then they would get worn down quicker. I realize I can switch to relative mode, and do this but I want to keep my set up as close to using regular vinyl with turntables as possible.
