Yeah I could have preordered one for much cheaper than PSSL is selling it for while in AC at the Expo, or even bought one from the same dealer while I was at the AC expo for PSSL's price... However I choose to wait so I could order one from the dealer I prefer to do business with. I agree with MDX, I am more than a little pissed by this.
This is bad business, I don't want to buy from PSSL, especially in knowing that their price is high.
The game industry handles releases like this different, all retailers gets to release the product on the same day, and almost if not all retailers get the at least some of the product prior to the release even if in limited quantity (based on their standing in the market).
Why this release was not handled in such a way I have no idea.
Also to add insult to injury myself and MDX have gone along way to promote this piece, by way of the videos and write-ups about the VCI-300 from my experience's with it at the AC expo.. But yet the only way we can get one as of yet is to buy from a company we do not want to do business with.
