I noticed that VSL doesnt add in mp4 files that have longer filenames... is this correct? If so, i sure hope thats something they will fix in the next release! Please let me know if im just seeing things, or im right about it =P

I hope this doesn't have to do with Quicktimes 63 character limitation. Let me know if you guys are also experiencing this...thanks!

I believe it's a quicktime bug. It's been that way for a long time, I'm not sure why Apple can't fix it. Seem so easy to do.

you could always give short names and add the longer name in the comments section of SSL window and turn track name off and just use the comments column. I know it's not the same but... if you really want long names, it's a fix for now 'till QT fixes it.

Yes, but we still rely on Quicktime to help with decoding. The 63 character limitation is one deep inside the Quicktime API and so we are, unfortunately, constrained by this.

I think the 63 character limitation is only in the windows version of quicktime.
