y am i getting this error when loading an avi file?

i think it only works with mp4/h.264 files.

MovieInfoBatch uses the same Quicktime technology as Video-SL so any files that Quicktime doesn't regard as valid (doesn't have the codec etc.) won't work.

If you are finding that there are files that work in Quicktime or Video-SL but don't work in MIB let me know as I'd be interested in working out what is going on.
