the video plug in doesn't mean you have to "plug it in" to your computer tyhrough a usb connection. it's called a plug in but it's a software plug in.
Killbill 9:55 PM - 30 December, 2007
Haha, LOL.
waffelz 10:48 PM - 30 December, 2007

billycuts 9:31 PM - 31 December, 2007
Yeah. If you watch the video with Steel, you'll see that he has a small USB dongle attached to his laptop. Some sort of copy protection scheme I would assume.
DJBIGWIZ 1:01 AM - 1 January, 2008
you don't have to physically "plug in" anything into your computer for Serato video... it's software that's called a plug in because it "plugs in" to Scratch Live so they can work together as one. Whatever little box Steel has plugged in is not related to Serato video.

go back and look at the video again what are you talking about you dont have to physically plug anything into you laptop when he say it.look at the other video in his colume and you will see the box and cables.

I HAVE the same full working version that he is using. The video "plug in" resides inside your computer as software. You do NOT plug a box into your usb to run video. The only thing you need physically plugged in to your computer through usb to run video is the TTM-57 mixer. PERIOD. Now, if you want to have your video on a separate screen, you need to plug a connector into the video out on your computer but the video plug in itself does NOT require anything to be plugged in... Scratch Live does and that is the TTM 57 mixer!

post a picture of the plug in box you have, and you must be sponsored by rain to have the full version, and anyway this does not concern the 57 mixer im talking about ppl that have the sl1 box not the 57
D-Twizzle 8:34 PM - 1 January, 2008
lol. how many times does it have to be said?
you must use the ttm57 now. that's the only usb port that has to be used.
some people use VGA to S-Video/Composite RCA boxes for the video signal output. that is optional and will depend on your laptop.

it's just the dvi to vga connector, or you can use the dvi to s-video/composite connector.
the other box is just a usb hub
