Read the minimum specs:

System Requirements
Rane TTM 57SL Mixer
Scratch LIVE 1.8
2 GB RAM
5 GB free on system drive
Storage space for video files.
Mac OS X
2 GHz MacBook or better
Windows XP and Vista
2 GHz Core 2 Duo or better

A 1GHz G4 powerbook is so far away from the minimum specs you don't have a hope. Even a 1.67GHz powerbook is going to be too slow.

Works fine on my 386 with win 3.1. I had some problems with the systems 8MB of memory so I upgraded to 16MB and it works great now!
