OK I've been hearing about serato and the Video, Where can I get it, How much does it cost and is it user friendly?

Te release notes say they "may" have it for the SL1 but who knows

Did they remove the "may work with the SL1 in the future" from the release notes?

yeah they do. it's called video-sl and it (for now) only works for the 57. However, I'll put $500 down saying it will never work for the SL1.

They changed it to read:
VIDEO-SL uses the TTM57SL controls to create a tightly integrated system for mixing video. Something which isn't possible with the SL 1 hardware.
Future Serato video products may support the SL 1 as a soundcard. If you want to know the release date of that product, refer to this FAQ: www2.scratchlive.net
This has been changed within the last 5 days. And since I am a new Serato user, having just purchased my SL 1 hardware with the last 2 weeks, this statement makes me pretty unhappy.

justin, if you just bought the sl1 box in the last 2 weeks, i would just return it and get a 57. simple enuf
