I have been reading this message board with great interest. I am definitely buying myself a serato scratch but am keen to get the latest one with the new 'steady pitch' records if at all possible. I am based in the UK. Has this updated package shipped to the UK yet (if not when?) and if so, when i'm talking to suppliers over the phone, what markings on the box will they need to look for to differentiate between the old and the new?
Congratulations for running what appears to be great customer service too. There are virtually no disgruntled customers at all because you seem to be paying attention to and working on all (of the few) problems they're having. (Massive contrast to the f***l scratch forum!!)

The re-mastered vinyl records are not in production yet. We're still waiting for the test pressings. What is available right now is software compensation for the drift in the existing records. We will announce when the new records are available.

You don't need asterisks in your post BTW, we don't censor this board except for breaches of the T&C.

amen for that. even the t&c is pretty leniant here which is a far cry from most other corporate boards and their bs. for once a company that knows how to properly provide customer service on the web.

also, i never really got why people censor their swear words with asterisks either... as if "censoring" the word makes using it any less offensive. if you're going to use it, fucking use it you know what i mean? don't be a wuss. ;)

The asterisks were obscuring the word final - as in final scratch (that stanton thing). I just thought that dissing other companies' products might be a bit inappropriate and by using the asterisks everyone would kno what i meant without me actually having made direct reference.

Guess i was a bit optomistic about the new records being out already.
I'm sure i have read posts somewhere from people unhappy with the patch tho?????
I don't plan on waiting around however - have now ordered my ssl. Should b with me in a few days.

Can't wait.
