Serato Software Feature Suggestions

What features would you like to see in Serato software?

Midi mappable banks/groups for the 62

DJ Prinvale` 7:22 PM - 25 February, 2012
Is really needed.

Just make the middle sp6/cue button go between 3 or 4 groups.

group 1: default cues
group 2: sp6
group 3: custom

A lot of basic SSL controls are missing from the mixing and not being able to disable original functions is proving to be a nightmare.
Niro 7:55 PM - 25 February, 2012
+1, expect I'd make group 2 Custom also since not everyone uses the sp6
Steve Dub. 9:11 PM - 25 February, 2012
+2 c'mon guys make it happen!!
D-Twizzle 10:06 PM - 25 February, 2012
+1, should be easy to implement like the 57
DeezNotes 1:06 AM - 26 February, 2012
I'd like it.
AKIEM 9:41 AM - 26 February, 2012
+1 hope its being worked on
Niro 5:32 PM - 27 February, 2012
+1, I know the mixer was suppose to be plug and play out of the box, but after moving from the 57 or 68, it's like taking a step backwards. Please make it an option soon.
You-Lee 5:47 PM - 27 February, 2012
Yes I agree. I have a 68. Should be open to map out anything just like the 68. Please make this happen like yesterday.

I agree in the sense that it feels like a step backwards. Switching groups on the 57 was sooo easy and it allowed for so much customization.

Other than typing in the search field I never had to touch my laptop. W/ the 62 I'm on my laptop more now and that makes me a sad panda
AKIEM 10:16 PM - 27 February, 2012
(outside of search) having to touch the laptop with a 62 in front of you is ridiculous
You-Lee 10:22 PM - 27 February, 2012
Exactly

agreed...
D-Twizzle 6:56 PM - 11 March, 2012
I'd love it if a serato employee/mod could acknowledge this thread. This is an important issue that can be fixed relatively easily. Seems like coding the firmware change would be very similar or identical to the 57/68 so the framework is already there.
wicked223 8:17 PM - 11 March, 2012
im sure they are quite aware of it by now....

lets keep in mind the mixer has only been out to the public for only around 4 weeks or less...and im sure they has seen and will acknowledge and have seen our requests......

just give them time....

Hey guys,

Sorry for the lack of a response. Unfortunately we don't see every thread, but DJ Prinvale` has pointed me to this one.

We hear you on this request, and I can tell you that the Serato and Rane developers have been discussing this behind the scenes and we'll have some more information soon. No time frame yet sorry.

I hope this helps.
