N4 - Upgrading from Intro to Scratch

Hi,
Please keep in mind I have never previously used Serato with a controller.

I am looking to purchase the Numark N4 which I am aware comes with both Serato Intro and Virtual DJ LE.
I take it that it is possible to upgrade and use the N4 with Serato Scratch (full version) right?

Nope.

Because of the way Serato software is licensed to the hardware manufacturers, not sold to consumers, you buy the hardware that comes with the software you want.

The upgrade path is basically to buy different hardware.

If you are a total beginner, an Intro controller will do you fine.

If you are currently doing, or aspire to doing, advanced mixing, you should definitely choose an Itch controller over Intro.

This part of the forum is full of people who've bought Intro controllers and are disappointed at how limited it is. Don't be one of those people! If DJing is or will ever be more than a hobby, go Itch.

nope ... if you wanna use ITCH buy a NS6 or controller that is ITCH ready
