Hi, im a Scratch junkie and love all your software´s!
Well, i sold my ssl box for a itch controller (xone dx - love it, feels vintage today!)
So, now when the A&H will release the K2 - It´s interesting!
-My question is only releated to Itch and Intro. As im not an ssl owner anymore-
Can i Control the intro program with the K2? Without a mixer, without anything else.
I want to be able to have a headphone cue - Its possible!
I want to have a 3 bands EQ (With a gain)! - Is it possible?
I want to be able to use the loop function - Is it possible?
I want to be able to pitchbend - Is it possible?
(as i hate the beatgridfunction and only use the autobpm)
I want to enjoy to mix in the park cracking a brew with the K2 and Intro - Is it possible?
And no, i dont want to buy a pacemaker.. Hehehehe!
Thank you!

At the moment the K2 does not support Intro.
If it ever does, I will fall off my chair in shock, TBH.
I just can't see anything in the A&H marketing for the K2 which suggests they will ever want to supply standalone beginner software with it. It's just not their demographic, and the K2 is designed to compliment their high-end install mixers (with the Ethernet connectivity).
If you really want it to happen, you should contact A&H and ask them to licence Intro for it. But I fully expect you'll be the first person to do so! ;-)

Still they have a overlay with a "faceplate" for Traktor pro X1 Emulator in the (xone k2 traktor pro 2 maps).. and that means that you have the same functions as the x1, but also with a soundcard & a midi mapping that can give you the headphone cue. In the press release video he says its a universal midi controller.. So why is it working with traktor and not (itch-licence)/intro?

Have i missunderstand this?

Intro is no more a 'universal' program than Itch is.
Intro is tied to specific controllers which are licensed to work with it, just like Itch.
Serato produces specific versions of Intro which load dependent on which Intro hardware is connected.
Intro is simply more of a beginner level program than Itch.

Neither of them support external midi mapping, either.
Ironically the Serato software that would be compatible with the K2 would be Scratch Live, although you'd still need a Rane box.

I know the difference between Itch and Intro thats why i put "itch" becuse i know its a matter of copyrights and money. I also know about the external midimapping. thats why i ask here.
But i cant understand why they giving the licence to traktor insteed of Serato. Why not both? I think both Serato & A&H have a win/win situation in sharing clients and development.
Maby you get my point?
And i think its a little bit unfair that a traktor user can have more fun and use of this product then a serato user.
Maby i cant see clear, but i always saw the future in serato but it might be traktor?
Well, Please admin. Give me/us some feedback!
Thank you!

You're asking in the wrong place, you should ask Allen & Heath. It's up to them.
The difference is, though, it would cost them money to licence Intro.
Because Traktor is open to any midi controller, they can offer Traktor compatibility to users at no cost. No software licencing required. Likewise Scratch Live, or MixVibes, or Ableton.
But not Itch or Intro.
