Only 2 decks?

Numark decided to make the N4 an Intro controller, not Itch.
Intro only ever has 2 decks, as it is just for beginners.
If you want 4 decks you do have the option to use Virtual DJ, as you say.

Is this a market strategy? 4-channel controller but can ONLY use 2-channel?

You'll have to ask Numark why they chose to spec 2-deck software on a 4-deck controller.

I know this might not a good idea, but would it be possible to the people who owns NUMARK N4 to purchase an ITCH N4 version? Of course, it is not definitely for FREE.

Or, maybe there is an ITCH version of N4 called N4-II for ITCH (like NS6 and 4TRAK)? Marketing strategy people!
:D

No that will never happen. The n4 is basically the poor mans copy of the NS6, so theres no reason at all to make a itch version of the n4.

What I meant is using the whole features SERATO DJ INTRO can offer without some extra features that cannot use on a controller?
Right now, I can only find PIONEER DDJ-ERGO be fitting for DJ INTRO because of the AUTOLOOP & LOOP-ROLL feature with 3 knobs for EFFECTS (thats my opinion afler all).

The Ergo is the best from that perspective, but honestly if you want to do any kind of advanced mixing you're just wasting your time using Intro at all.
VCI-300 and the VFX is very portable.
If you aren't bothered about scratching then the Twitch is brilliant (I have one).
Neither of those cost very much more than the Ergo.

Speaking of TWITCH, I saw a video that he connected TWITCH and DDJ-S1. It was COOL on the video where the LOOP features of TWITCH was incorporated with DDJ-S1 and he can also SCRATCH!
Would that work on my NS6?

I recently bought the N4. I wanted to use it for small gigs at restaurant. I do have a 57SL and two denon 3700 in a coffin.
The N4 does not have Led cue monitors for each channel. It only reads the master mix. This is a big deal breaker for me as I always adjust the sound levels before the mix.
If video was needed my plan was to use virtual DJ with the N4. Problem is my serato cue points are not supported in virtual DJ. It was also tricky to get my serato creates to show up.
I wouldn't buy the N4 unless you intend to use it with VDJ. Their software interface does have a pre-LED monitoring lights on the interface.
If Serato adds pre LED lights and video support for DJ intro that would be cool.
Don't think that will ever happen.
We need a nice small controller that has balance outputs, two mic inputs, booth monitor, cue LED metering, scratch capable, itch included, and is lightweight.
NS7 is way to heavy. NS6 comes very close but does not have cue LED monitoring.
The closest controller that comes to this is the Pioneer DDJ-S1 in my opinion.

There is a workaround for the level monitoring on the NS6 in Itch 2.1, I believe.
Still an oversight to not put it on there properly though, I agree.
