It would be nice to be able to hear the audio straight off of SSL without having to run it out and into a control surface. For me to hear the sound with my midi audio controller I have to run the audio into inputs and open a new instrument track in a recording app like garage band. Would you have to implement midi to do this? Doesn't seem like it because I get the sound from iTunes without running the audio into my controller through inputs but it still runs through to my monitors. It goes through the usb but I'm not sure how.
