I havent had time to listen to the whole mix yet... l8r.

LOLOL...thats what I was sayin. No Homo is crossing over into the real world. I was spinning last night and I was talking to a ho and some dude came up to make a request. He was an abnoxious asshole, and as soon as he left, I turned to her and said "That guy can suck my dick......no homo" She looked at me like I was all fucked up.
djnvs 9:56 PM - 9 September, 2007
There's a spike lee interview online where the dude had to give him a no homo pause.... spike lee was talking about a bball player and he says "I like dick" interviewer says "pause"

Classic

rabblerouser 5:33 PM - 10 September, 2007
that's really funny. i love that track. i had to force it in here any way i could.

first time i heard it was at this party here in SF in the basement of club six. cut played a handful of unmastered joints from his album and he did the little juggle that made it into the final intro. this calm across the audience. when those drums came in the place went wild.

I didn't know what to think about it when I first heard it...... listened again and thought it sounded kinda like a country rap, WTF.... listened again and had the head nod goin. "Wicked & Weird I'm a road hog with an old dog, singin slow songs, tyrin to hold on." lol

I think AMF nailed it earlier when he made the comment... "I don't normally listen to half of this music, but I sure can appreciate it as a change." +1

Thanks man... I just went back and listened to your part and I appreciate the talent more every time I listen to it. For example, I didn't catch that your part is a vs. mix (Tear Da Club Up vs. Luchini), which is, in a way, a huge compliment. I thought that's the way the song was supposed to sound. Nice work!
djnvs 11:14 PM - 11 September, 2007

Ok, just before, sorry for my english !

When i have listen the track of snaptec, the BPM did not admit me... i LIKE Hip Hop, but I don't no, the rythm seemed not very interessant ( for me ).
Also i did not find a party to play my mix... Of blow i decided to place a loop at the beginning of the break and place my mix on the loop...
After, when i have turn on the loop, i have play with the bass from Madness ( i have place this before the break ) and also i have play with the " IN " of my loop >>>>>>>>>> CTRL + LOOP on/off

When i have see the possibilities, i have place 2 cue points on the loop, and after, it's easy, you just play with the song...
I think is the job of DJ lol !

Thanks a lot another time, i love this tread...

It's for when Miss Ping Pong 2 ? ;-)

Hey All,

I just wanted to give us our propers! I love this mix! And damn if it didn't spend a ton of time travelling the world.

Also, as a graduate of UC Davis and a former Sactown resident, I love that the mix wrapped up in the Cap City of the Golden State!

Mr. Nice, if we need more stable/permanent hosting of it I can throw it up on my site since I know you enjoyed the download speed.

Let me know.

Same go crazy any genre you feel like?
Psyko Logical 4:42 AM - 13 October, 2007
Sounds good
OG Supernatural 5:33 AM - 13 October, 2007
What do you guys think about changing the 2 min rule to 2-3 minutes?
J0be 11:15 AM - 13 October, 2007
Oooh! Like 5 minute abs instead of 6!? Sounds crazy but it might just work!
Mr.Nice 12:22 PM - 13 October, 2007
I was thinking the same, how about 2-5 mix? just keep on rolling if your feeling the flow.
sweetL 12:54 PM - 13 October, 2007
what mr nice said. i could do a lot more with 5 minutes.

i got cut from the first ping pong before cause someone didnt realise i was going somewhere with my mix lol....

ya mine too, i dobt think snaptec was a big fan of chicago!

Yep... that's what I was getting at.
Mr.Nice 6:55 AM - 15 October, 2007
Cool, than we won't put too much of a restriction on the time as long as it's not over 5 min per dj.

Rule should be that you can mix your track in from any point past the last track being mixed in.

That means your last track might get edited out entirely or might be played out till the end.
djskiggz 7:37 AM - 15 October, 2007
well i dont know about everyone else but i thought the mix was all over the place.

Oh well I guess thats what we can expect since everyone has their own flavor. Some parts were pretty boring though.
J0be 7:57 AM - 15 October, 2007
Well with 15 DJs from all over the world contributing to a mix, there's a big chance its not going to be to everybodies taste.
The digital age is an awesome thing! I thought it was dope, I loved the mixed bag a flavors.

Bring on the next one!

DJ Cykophuk 5:21 PM - 15 October, 2007
heres a crazy idea....what do you guys think about doing 3 song sets with a recommended 10-15 minute limit? Its not like we need to be able to fit the .wav on a cd. We could release a much longer mix in MP3 format...as if it were a night of guest spots.

There was so much (fun) DRAMA in that thread - OG saying that Mixmeister can't beatmix, worries about getting a WAV file over dial up....

I think i was in on round two.
