why dont u guys over there at serato release a beta and make sure u designate/label that release as a beta for the public... other companie do this.

i've noticed those are mostly smaller shareware developers with their own resources (ie no support).

i'd rather have stable software than people coming to this forum and bitch about how the software crashed on them during a gig because they didn't take heed or realize that it was a beta.

Yes, win 98 was beta, win me, win 2k, even win xp is beta ;) No, seriously MS gives beta only to beta testers and MSDNs, so its not available to everyone. Same with SSL, beta is only available to beta testers.

All the people kick Microsoft and Windows but use it !!!
I have used Win98 and now XP , and I have no problems with them because I take care. It's like a car : If someone have the best car but don't know to drive, the result will be there !

kinda defeats the whole purpose of having beta testers doesn't it? also, this is essentially what Final Scratch used to do (release untested/buggy versions to the public) and look at how much dissatisfaction it caused among FS users.
