I was using another less expensive "scratch" software and my main gripe with it was if you pull or push the record slowly the the sound gets distorted.

So I watched the A-Track Video on Ranes site and went out and spent 550 on this software and it has the same problem (almost)! Now if I pull or push the record slowly the sound just drops... I was pushing the records very slowly and was able to get several rotations of the plater with out a single sound coming out of the record. Is this a known issue with this sort of "scratch" software? If so it's almost useless for turntablist like my self who like to push and pull the record very slowly in order to get various sounds.

PLEASE tell me im doing something wrong!!

You need to adjust the threshold in the setup screen.

and again, be sure about selecting PHONO in setup screen.

if you adjust the threshold properly, you can move the record very vey slowly and get sound.

keep on spinning!
