when i was in atl i dj'ed a spot at club NV and Lil Jon came through, this was before he really blew up. dude is a humble guy. nothing bad to say, i've heard him spin at a few radio events for v103 in atlanta back in the day from what i heard didn't sound bad to me.

I thought he was a rave DJ back in the 90's before all the radio and club hits...

I haven't heard him lately, but he was a very good DJ when he was spinning at the Warehouse and on WRFG back in the early to mid '90s. He played a lot of real hip-hop like Mobb Deep and Nas ,etc. The whole Crunk movement was a big change from the Lil Jon I used to hear spinning at the clubs. After Crunk died out he moved on to the Top 40 stuff. It's still a far cry from the Lil Jon I know from back then.
