SSL Bundled Music?

I read that SSL comes with bundled music by an act called the Marksmen in the post in the video downloads section featuring a DJ Kamron. Is this just with newer SSL units? If not where would I find the music? Can you tell me more about these guys? Thanks!

Hey SSL moderators, where you at? I have to admit that saying these guys are long time SSL users is a little amusing considering SSL is fairly new. Did they help develop it? Thanks!

There is also SSE, Serato Scratch Studio Edition which is older than SSL.

Thanks for the info! They do say Scratch Live but maybe that's what they are talking about? Serato Scratch is about a year older? I see that it is only a Pro Tools plug in with no MP3 support and without the capability of needle drooping. Besides that how does it perform compared to SL? What about the bundled music? Thanks again!

i still cant believe SSE is rtas format only. Thats most annoying for those of us using VST/Audio units.

The Marksmen were sent some of the prototype interfaces over a year ago. They've been a great help with testing from very early in the development cycle, likewise A-Trak.
The main advantage that Scratch Studio edition has over LIVE, is that it's output can be recorded to a track in Pro Tools without being converted. SSE is purely intended for use in a studio, and as such we never intended for it to support compressed audio.
Depakote, does your SSL CD not contain any bundled mp3s?

I checked my disc again and found the music. It just threw me off because you have to run an installer. Thanks!
