Hi guys i just got SSL today and ive installed installed the software and connected everyting up how it should be.
But i press play on my turntable's and both give out a constant beep and no bad ass musick?
How do i replace dis beeeeeeeeeeeeep huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum noise wid da ganksta rap?
Ive clicked setup and done Estimate and all dat - made a perfect circle n all but no musick? just beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep yo help thnx peahsk

Hello,
Couple of things this could be:
1. Make sure on your mixer that you switched the toggle switch to line and that it is not on phono.
2. Also make sure under setup that you picked phono as well.
It's most likely the input select on your mixer

Still no musick just da digital noise
My mixer is da ttm-56i and dere doesnt seem to be a Line switch. My last mixer had a line/phono/transform switch all in one.. Dis mixer which i got wid serato only seems to have Phono/Transform
Ive selected which trax to play on each vinyl and i can see dem spin on skreen but da musick isnt happenin just a long ass beeeep

turns out da transform/phone switch on dis bad ass mixer is phono/line/transform (of course)

by the way, be sure about selecting PHONO input in setup window.
first time i use SSL i didnt select it (default setting is LINE input), and i got some problems like high needle drop latency, low volume... because of this.
and of course, be sure about calibrating your system in the right way (setup window again)

note to the serato guys: change the defaults! isn't most of the installed base who use this app going to use it with turntables? that's prob the most common question i see on this forum. i mean that one tripped me up as well when i first plugged in. i checked and rechecked all my inputs and still the circles were super small. then it hit me to hit the phono button in setup and everything worked.
