Has anyone had any problems using an external drive with SSL? I store my mp3's on an external USB drive... unfortunately my laptop (ibm thinkpad t-30) only has USB 1.1, and when I first drag an mp3 onto a control record the entire program slows down to the point where all graphics and audio freeze for about 10 seconds..!! Not good!!

I just wanted to find out if these problems are because of the fact that my connection is only USB 1.1... has anyone wiht USB 2.0 or firewire had these problems?
