transferring my old music files to my main library faster

does anyone know how to transfer existing music files in my documents to my main librar alot faster than one at a time? is there a select all feature of sorts? also, is there any way i can have files i am now downloading be saved in my main library instead of saving in my documents and having to transfer??? thanks folks.

You can drag in (or import) folders as well as individual files. Doing it that way should be a lot quicker.

Or, you can use the Move To option, that way, it doesnt make double copies, as dragging and dropping usually does that from my HD to my External HD. And, crtl a selects all your songs in the folder you have open, then do the Move To, located up in the options bar. Then, you just search out the folder you want, and Viola, PRESTO! Moved folders.
