I just recorded a basic kick and drum scratch in VDJ 7.0.2 vand Itch 1.7.1 , same track, pitch and volume. Strongly concidering going back to VDJ. Itch is really boring me...
If anyone wants to hear how the two differ email me and ill email the clips. Id like everyone to tell me which one sounds better.
I wasent trying to scratch hard, its just baby scratches to compare the sound of the kick n drum as well the general output.
if some one can tell me how to post the tracks here let me know. if not, pm me and ill email u the clips.
thanks!

Test 1 is VDJ. It is noticeably louder.
I find the snare on itch more real though.
I suck at scratching huh?

the scracthing is fine .
i think it is there is more bass in 1 so the snare sounds sharper in 2 ?

Possibly , but this is just the eqs being flat.
VDJ is not all that bad. Hopefully something good is announced at
Namm.

If Serato fucks us with new hardware needed
For new features I'm going to force myself.
I ran it fine for a few years. If u need help ironing out
Your issues let me know.

I'm an itch guy but will give some credit to VDJ when due was at a club for nye and guy was rockin it put together a pretty neat set too... oh, wait... he didn't actually have a controller or tables... not as flashy but still a pretty good set using prep, mouse and keys. Loved that he was using the Serato SSL skin lol
I've said it before Bassnectar only uses a trigger finger so controller isn't a must but really takes away the fun not having one don't you think?
