I have done everything possible to make my mp3s sound good . I have a new g4 laptop new mixer new needles and it sounds like shit help

What kind of poor sound quality are you experiencing?

Have you installed the latest version?

Have you followed the instructions for callibration?

My first guess would be your MP3 files... did you encoded them yourself from vinyl? Did you use a LAME encoder? How about the needles that were used? EQing, the connections, and tonearm settings are also factors.

Bad distortion, I have the latest version and ortofon needles. Calibrated corectly and sounds terrible even in int mode

Have you got the output from Scratch LIVE going to the line inputs, not phono, on your mixer?

What do the meters read in Scratch LIVE?

what does the control signal sound like when you flip the transform switch?

Are the meters on your mixer clipping at all?
