Hi Phonik,
Sorry, we didn't see your help request originally as you'd closed it.
First off, can you please give me the specs of your computer?
Do you have both Scratch Live and Ableton Live open? If so, do you receive any error messages in Ableton Live when you connect the Sixty-Eight?

as you can see there is no Ableton bridge plugin recognised in serato, as the heading of this help request suggests

Hey Phonik,
If you log in to your www.ableton.com account, select "Authorize" then click on "Your Licenses", does The Bridge show there as a registered license?

the automated process of registering hardware is starting to get complicated, maybe you can sponsor me a free white label release for all my trouble with the brand new mixer

Hey Phonik,
When you first open Scratch Live and Ableton Live together at the same time, you will be prompted to register The Bridge - has this happened for you? Registering Ableton Live and your Sixty-Eight are different processes from registering The Bridge.

is the bridge meant to be an add on in ableton>preferences>Library tab

Hi Phonik,
No, The Bridge is not included here.
Now that Ableton have put The Bridge on your account, if you open Ableton Live and go to Preferences -> User Account Licenses, does it say "Live 8 + 1 add-ons authorized"?
Also, I see you've also posted in this thread -> www.serato.com (click link). Here you said:
i had all the same symptoms i then put 4gb ram in and its fine now
So just to confirm: You have had The Bridge working before, but now it doesn't?

"seratopc incoming path not authenticated"
This sounds like the what the problem is. I'll need to get in touch with Ableton and find out what this error message means.
Correct, you should be able to see Serato if The Bridge is enabled.
is that 4gb ddr2 or ddr3
Either is fine, please note however you can't mix DDR2 and DDR3 (e.g. have one DDR2 RAM module and one DDR3 RAM module in the same machine). Which are you using?

I HAVE two sticks of DDR2
please see the last picture i attaced:
i installed the new mac core audio for sixty eight
and now i can see the sixty eight in input and output in audio preferences in ableton
but i still can not see it in serato
so now that i can see the sixty eight in ableton if i try and map midi for example to the crossfader as soon as i move the crossfader ableton crashes
and if i plug my mixer into my computer and open up sixty eight in the system preferences
the little program can pick up the sixty eight fine,
though then if i open serato like i the last picture the sixty eight audio control panel starts searching for a sixty eight and serato shows up with four tracks so the two programs serato and the sixty eight audio control panel are running independently from each other
so the only thing i can do with the bridge is turn the mixers backlght buttons lights on and off

Hey Phonik,
I've heard back from Ableton, apparently the error messgae you are seeing means that Abelton Live's The Bridge API cannot be initialised. They've asked for your status report, which you can get by doing the following:
2. Launch Serato.
(or vice versa)
3. Go to Live's "Help" menu and click on "Get Support".
4. Click on the link "Ableton Status Report xxx" to reveal the report file in Windows Explorer (PC) or in Finder (MAC).
Once you have this report, can you please attach it to this thread?
