What features would you like to see in Serato software?

which song is in which crate

a useful feature i would like.
if you have got multiple crates in one main crate it would be nice to go to the main crate where all the songs are, & see which song is in which crate.

because recently some of my crates where deleted & i cant remeber what songs i had in those crates.

so for the songs that dont have a crate it should be blank, so you know to put that certain song in a crate

Always wanted this feature, would help a lot with locating files that seem like they're missing.

I hope it's easy to code:
-when highlighting a song in the playlist area (no matter which crate, even also in the All crate)
-All the crates/subcrates containing this song should highlight (red, green, blue, grey... whatever)

This is a great request, already posted here in the feature request area many many times. It's very usefull if you organize crates (I dont use itunes).

The problem is, all the users wanting this feature, post in different threads so it gets lost in the middle of all the other threads and dont stay on page1.

I suggest to all who already posted that they dig this feature before on other threads, to post again in this thread and make it gain attention.

Sounds good...Sometimes I might have a song in 2 or 3 different crates though (R&B, POP, and Wedding "X").

I'm sure that can be taken care of. Nice suggestion.

i would say soemthing like the ability to create the identical crate into a folder on the drive/external drive(in my case)

using the same name as the crate. this way u can erase anythign thats not in ur crates erasing duplicates...

I am ALWAYS organizing and thinning out my library, deleting duplicates and other garbage. As it is right now, I'm probably removing tracks from important crates but I have no way of knowing unless I individually inspect each crate (not gonna happen).

10 year anniversary shouldn't even be a thing for a feature request.. But here at Serato we are all so lucky and get to celebrate this milestone quite often.

My god yes. Original Scratch Live owner here from back in 2003 - this has been at the top of my list of Serato improvements since then!

This would make filing SO much easier! PLEASE.
