Does the browse feature only work when either 'All...' or an iTunes playlist is selected?

I just noticed that I cannot browse in SSL crates.

and while we're comparing SSL crates to iTunes, I just noticed the column sorting SSL crates only works in acending order, while iTunes playlists can be sorted in acending or decending order.
