SSL doesn't save songs I played recently

Songs I play during the night turn green during that session but once I start the program over they all reset and the review area is blank.

I use iTunes playlists exclusively to organize my files... is this why?

No, this also happens to me. I would like SSL not to clear the "played" tracks list, a button for clearing it is still ok.
