Halfway... how do you deal with tracks which are in multiple crates?

Not sure if you're asking me or a user named Halfway, but I'd just list all the crates in that "crated in" column.

I think having multiple songs in multiple crates is one of the most powerful features of Serato.

Someone suggested a mode where you select a song, and all crates where this song is in will be highlightened.

YES!! I had this problem today! I couldn't find a song that was in the crate I was using, which it was also supposed to be in...wasn't a big deal after all because of the 'search' feature, but since I'm addicted to havin' everything organized, I really want to know where it is and I'm not goin' through my 1000+ songs to find out which crate it's in...

Just bumping this again. Rekordbox and Traktor have it... come on Serato!!

It's the perfect time for Serato to jump on this feature. Just like STEMS, everyone else other than the "industry leading" software had them - then Serato was like "we're adding STEMS, it's a GAME CHANGER! OMG!".

Serato has done an amazing job in so many ways - it would be nice if they provided some tools like this to help manage your library. It kinda boggles me that they haven't included a way to find out what crate(s) a track is in :(

That's a great shout, would definitely help with transitions between creates.

Yeah, especially if you had tracks in multiple crates. Plus just knowing whether you put a track somewhere, how you chose to categorize a track - there are all sorts of benefits. This is just too useful a feature to leave out, hence why you see it in other DJ software...

I wouldn't be surprised if more people have also posted something like this, especially seeing as the other DJ systems have it - seems like having something along these lines is a no-brainer!

Serato implemented beat jump like 6 years before traktor.
Stems like 2 years before virtual dj, very funny all the campaing they did like they have a game changer going on. It took a week to virtual dj to launch a new update of their stems technology LOL
