Feature Request: Lock playlist sorting order during library search

"Is there a way to lock the playlist sorting order independently from the library search? Currently, searching for a song in the library messes up the custom sorting of my active playlist. I’d like the library to have its own sorting method while the playlist retains its original order, just like in previous Serato versions.

Please consider this feature request, as it would make updating the active playlist with live song requests much smoother. Any advice?"

"Totally agree! This is a massive pain point during live gigs. When you're taking quick requests from the crowd, the last thing you want is for your carefully planned playlist order to get completely messed up by a library search. +1 for bringing back the independent sorting!"

100% support this feature request. The current behavior really disrupts the workflow, especially when managing live requests on the fly. Having the playlist sorting locked independently from the global library search is essential for seamless track management. Hopefully, the dev team brings this functionality back soon.

Appreciate the +1s, guys! Completely agree that fixing this should be high on their priority list. It's a basic workflow feature that worked perfectly before, and we really need it back for seamless track management.
