so when i went to internal mode and i'm playing a song and i throw it over to the other side, it goes to 0 percent bpm. lets say i was at a +6 on one side, it will start on the other side at 0. anyone else had this issues with instant double? serato 4.0.1. i'm running a maxed out mac m3. sonoma 14.5.

what I found when I upgraded to 4.0.4 that instant double does automatically play when using one cdj or turntable. I downgraded back to 4.0.3 and works fine . Then I updated to 4.0.5 and it doesn't work so went back to 4.0.3

thats the beauty about installing several versions of Serato on your laptop, you can find a version that works for you when you run into issues.
You can try these workarounds and see if it works:
1. Use “Make Deck Active” before Instant Double
Click the little lightning‑bolt icon on the target deck first.
This forces Serato to “wake up” the pitch engine.
2. Toggle Pitch Lock (Master Tempo) once
Turn it off → on.
This forces Serato to re‑read the pitch value.
3. Use Instant Double via keyboard shortcut
Shift + Enter
This sometimes bypasses the pitch‑reset bug.
4. have you tried Serato 3.3.5. or 4.0.5?
