Pioneer controller for SDJ Pro and Studio?

Any idea why Serato Studio is still without Ableton Link at 2.5?

Probably be a good idea to put this in the Serato Studio General Discussion too.

The Link protocol was created for keeping tempo and phase in sync across multiple devices (software, hardware, android apps).
Link got added to SDJ Pro in 2016. The mystery is how Serato Studio 1.0 managed to launch three years later (June 2019) without Link.

Yes and I’m saying perhaps that is because now Serato have a directly competing product, back when the link between DJ Pro and Ableton was established, one company was a DJ software brand, the other a music production brand.
I imagine Serato will see their own production software as the direct link to their DJ software.
Ableton link is for providing 3rd party software and plugins a path into Ableton, why would they link other production software to theirs? If you mean so all the 3rd party plugins can connect to studio, Ableton really aren’t going to facilitate that are they, there’s nothing in it for them.

"What is Link?
Link is a Ableton technology used for synchronising Serato DJ with other devices and applications, usually over a local network.
It can be used to synchronise two Serato DJ instances on separate computers, synchronise Serato DJ with other Digital Audio Workstations (such as Ableton Live), or other devices and applications."
And also with iPad apps and any compatible product supporting Ableton Link.
It's from Ableton but it's not "just for Ableton".
I think the question is legit and every app should support link or propose a better solution if not. It's like an standard nowadays (also open AFAIR)
Said that...
I will love to see Serato recovering Mixtape feature between Sdj and Studio. The Bridge makes less sense since most of the tools had been implemented inside SDj itself (flip, sampler, slicer, stems...) and with deep integration making it also Ableton Link compatible will not be against themselves IMO.
