Ive been using the Reloop Flux since its release and ive loved the convenience of it with USB-C that charges my laptop and the built in hub for my other accessories. I also love that Reloop stepped in and filled a void left by other companies.

However one thing has always nagged at me, its the sound quality. It just feels a bit harsher and a bit less of that lovely warm sound you get from house music on a good system. After an hour or so i always felt like my ears knew about it with the Flux.

So ive decided to revert back to my trusty SL3, and whilst the extra cables are a pain, the sound coming from it is night and day difference, far better, much more balanced and natural sounding. I had to clean down my old Macbook, revert back to Catalina then reload all my music on Serato 2.5.5 (luckily my newer library loaded up no issues once id transferred it across), but its still running like a dream with 3 decks and FX.

I think that is going to be me for the foreseeable, i wish someone like a Rane or Union Audio would produce a modern high end sound card for DVS with focus on sound.
