music drops out for about 5 seconds

i have an Asus laptop and sometimes when playing music it drops out for about 5 seconds and when it comes back on the sound is different like if you changed the setting in the USB buffer size. my USB buffer is at 10 at the moment. When playing music should i put the laptop in airplane mode?

this is not necessary.

you can always increase this to a stable setting.

you can also close off programs that are running in the back ground, antivirus security softwares etc.
also optimise your windows laptop for Serato >> support.serato.com

which version of serato are you using?

In Serato Settings / Library + Display / display, uncheck "Hi-Res Screen Display"
